The secret to making pinch pleat headings ....look good

2.         dress the pleats before hanging

3.         nip each pleat at the base

4.         a tape hook might help

                      Whether it’s a single curtain or a pair you want the pleats to look evenly spaced across the top. So before stitching a thing let’s centralize.

  Firstly ...............fold the tape in two and mark the center point

Next..................At the center point find the exact middle between the draw cords (between points A & B) and cut the tape in two

Now...............stitch the left tape to the left curtain.......sewing from the right towards the left. This will ensure when drawn to size there will be a 2 inch space from the edge of your curtain to the first pinch pleat

Repeat.........with the right length of tape.......starting on the left of the curtain and sewing towards the right

                Nip each pleat at the base
